Bridal Morning

A spring wedding at a valley farm — slow getting-ready hours, ten stolen minutes of portraits before the ceremony, and a reception that ran gloriously late.

The brief & the approach.

Challenge: a couple who wanted full-day coverage but almost no posed photographs — fewer than a dozen groupings, and portraits that felt like a breather, not a production.

Approach: I joined the bridal suite at 9 am and stayed documentary until the ceremony, then borrowed the couple for two short portrait windows — ten minutes in the orchard, eight in the barn doorway at dusk. The rest of the day I simply stayed where the laughter was loudest.
