The Eye Behind Cindermoor

Portrait and wedding photographer, natural-light devotee, and firm believer that the best photographs happen between the poses.

Photographer at work with a camera on a tripod outdoors

Hello — I run Cindermoor Imagery.

For over a decade I have photographed weddings, portraits, editorials and brand stories across the Pacific Northwest. My approach is simple: real light, real moments, and direction that never feels stiff.

A session with me feels like a walk with a friend who happens to carry two cameras. I will guide you when you need it, step back when the moment takes over, and deliver a gallery that reads like the day felt.

  • Over 400 weddings and portrait sessions delivered
  • Published in three regional wedding journals
  • Backup gear, backup plans, and galleries delivered on time

How I work.

Every booking starts with a conversation — about your people, your place, and the feeling you want to keep. On the day I arrive early, scout the light, and stay invisible until you need me. Afterward, each frame is hand-edited in the studio: true colour, clean skin, and nothing overdone.

The studio itself is a converted daylight loft on Cinder Lane — part shooting space, part editing suite, and always stocked with strong coffee for planning meetings.

“She didn't just take our photos — she noticed the moments we missed and gave them back to us.”

— Maya & Daniel R., wedding clients
